Privacy Policy

Seen is a software platform owned and operated by Haute Locals, LLC, a California limited liability company (“Seen,” “we,” “us,” “our”). We provide SEO and GEO (Generative Engine Optimization) software and services to local businesses across the United States. The platform is available at seen.hautelocals.com.

This Privacy Policy describes what information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and your rights. Contact us at hello@hautelocals.com with any questions.

We collect three categories of information:

Account information

• Name, email, business name, business address, contact phone
• Authentication credentials (handled by Supabase Auth; we do not store plaintext passwords)
• Subscription tier and billing data (handled by Stripe)

Marketing performance data

• Your website URL, business listings, and content we audit on your behalf
• Search engine and AI engine visibility data for keywords and queries you ask us to track
• Google Business Profile, Google Search Console, and Google Analytics data when you connect those accounts
• Paid media account data (Google Ads, Meta Ads) when you connect those accounts

Usage data

• Pages viewed and actions taken inside the Seen platform
• IP address, browser, and device information for security and analytics

• To deliver the SEO + GEO services you purchase: running audits, generating content recommendations, monitoring visibility, sending reports
• To operate, maintain, and improve the platform
• To communicate with you about your account, subscription, and our services
• To meet legal, tax, and compliance obligations

We share information with service providers who help us run the platform: Supabase (database + auth), Vercel (hosting), Stripe (billing), Resend (email), Anthropic / OpenAI (AI processing for audits and content generation), and the third-party integrations you choose to connect (Google, Meta, etc.).

We do not sell your personal data. We do not share your data with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

You can access, correct, export, or delete your account data at any time. Contact hello@hautelocals.com to make a request. California residents have additional rights under the CCPA; EU/UK residents have rights under GDPR / UK GDPR.

We retain account data for as long as your subscription is active and for a reasonable period after cancellation to meet legal and tax obligations. You can request earlier deletion at any time.

We use industry-standard security practices including encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest, role-based access controls, and least-privilege service credentials. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.

Seen is a business-to-business platform and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version here with a new effective date. Material changes will be communicated by email when possible.
